just got back from the tmobile store, and my no sound issue was fixed when the girl did a battery pull in the store.she told me i need to do it once a night to avoid problems.i know blackberrys required battery pulls but my phone wasnt 48 hours old and the sound completely went and i had lines through my facebook widget screen. i havent read anything about doing a battery pull or anything so im just worried that my phone might be defective.any input would be appreciated thanks

Personally, I wouldn't pull the battery just because.... Only pull it if you think you need to. You're right -- these aren't Blackberry phones.

That is ridiculous! You shouldn't have to pull the battery every night. Keep an eye on it and if it keeps acting up exchange it.

One thing we android users say is that we don't need to do battery pulls. Unless the phone becomes frozen then we won't need to do a battery pull. I would recommend just turning your phone on/off manually instead as it let's everything shut down correctly. :)

Battery pulls are not necessary. I would restart the phone about every 2 days. Just hold the power button and choose restart. I also use the built in task manager and eliminate apps when I'm not using them.
