Arrows on front touch button bar when typing

The front touch button bar gains two arrows when the keyboard is pulled up. It's super annoying since when I hold the phone my palms touch the arrows and the cursor moves and the words get messed up. I'm not finding anyone else with this issue and thus no solution as to how to remove the arrows. Anyone here know? Thanks.

I just checked my phone and it has the two arrows you are talking about. Had mine since release date and never notices, so they have not been a problem for me. I am using the standard keyboard after years of using alternates on other phones.

Even on SwiftKey the arrows are there. I actually like them and find them useful. Another reason to not flash a rom.

Sorry I can't help but a huge thank you for pointing out what those arrows do! I've had non stock keyboards with cursor directional function but it's never been down by the lower buttons. I just never looked at the cursor when trying to figure out what they do. LOL

Woo hoo! My Ballistic case came in and after putting it on my palms no longer hit the arrows. Yay!
