I'm certain that when the devs put out a nice stable version of ICS for the TBolt (and they will), virtually everyone here will then be rooted :) Considering that most everyone here is a geek and will want the latest OS.

Nah, not me. I'll stick with what I've got. :) ICS doesn't interest me a whole lot. Feel the same about Windows 7, why I'm still on XP! New isn't always better IMO. :)

Haha, yah I know. But it still works exactly how I want and I know it like the back of my hand. Plan to stick with it until 2014 when it will no longer receive security updates. :)

I Was just given a laptop with XP on it for a project with a company that is standardized on XP, and it includes a lot of old stuff i haven't seen in a while (VPN etc.).... I know it like the back of my hand, and it may get the job done, but old isn't necessarily better. Having moved forward I find that it gets in the way. In part we are at a point where new doesn't always mean dramatically new so it is harder to evaluate the improvements up front and conclude that new is hands down the winner, but having moved onwards I can say that old isn't better, it is just less risky.

My plan with the phone is to stick with stock 'till stock stops moving, then move on via root with dev builds that keep me current.
