Artwork and lyrics not showing up in my Samsung Galaxy S2 Music Player.

The way I've been doing it is by doing both through iTunes and downloading the songs on my phone through Kies Air. Some songs will get the lyrics and/or artwork, while others will only get the artwork and the rest won't get either.

(I checked it out on Play Music also--the one with the headphones symbol--and it wasn't any better, it was actually worse, so don't bother suggesting that.)

Any help is appreciated, thank you! :)

Thank you for your solution! Been tearing my hair out in frustration, thinking there must be simpler ways to get the lyrics to appear.

For the benefit of anyone wondering what this 'convert ID3 tag' thingy is, just go to your song in Itunes, right click on the song, and look for Convert ID3 tags.

Click on it, check the box for ID3 tag version and click on v2.4.

Click OK and go ahead and drag and drop your songs from iTunes to your Android music folder.
Hope this helps someone!

This has been helpful but for some reason it did not work on my Note 3 Music Player? I have even restarted the device. Any other ideas? Anyone?

In addition to whats been said above, lyrics must be ISO-8859-1 encoded, not UTF-8. UTF-16 works too, but it will increase the file size. All other tags should be UTF-8 encoded. id3 v2.3 or v2.4 it doesn't matter, but id3 v2.4 is preferred. You can set the encoding using the Kid3 Tag Editor which is a much lighter alternative to iTunes. Google Kid3 Tag Editor to get it.
