Originally started out with the iPhone 1g, then smashed that in the military, so i went to a few other phones til i wondered back to the 3g. Right after i got the 3g they came out with the 3gs, and that's where programming became a need and want. I spent weeks in research about jail breaking it, then finally decided to go for it. After a few days my iPhone was complete with every customization that could be imagined. Then when i relocated to the middle of the desert, i found my phone rendered useless. So i ventured out to find the next best phone. Came across the thunderbolt on a vacation trip but they wouldn't let me buy it til Verizon gave the ok. So i waited then finally got it. Straight out of the box it was nice, smooth, and much better than my iPhone. until a trip to the east coast i didn't get the chance to play with 4g, and while there i tried to customize my phone with the plan options. But found myself wanting my old iPhone back due to the easy jailbreak. Shortly after i found out about rooting. So for months again i started doing research into the whole rooting process, and just yesterday i decided to take the dive into re-programming my thunderbolt. Now im rooted and thanks to this site for the ease of instructions. I was able to complete a full root and a full smile. Now im just wondering around with a grin on my face, because my phones better. I can honestly say my phone is now truly mine.
