Assigning ringtoes for unknown numbers

In my WinMo phone, I had the ability to assign a different ringtone to numbers that were not in my contacts. So, I had the following scheme set up:

Ringtone 1 = Wife - answer tight away
Ringtone 2 = People in my Contacts list - answer if convenient
Ringtone 3 = Any other incoming call from numbers not in my contact list - >>> voicemail

This way, it was easy to decide if I want to answer a call or not without taking the phone out of my pocket.

I do not sync my contacts with Google, just using the stock contacts in Android standalone and sync it with Outlook on my PC.

Does anyone know of an app that has functionality that will let me achieve that?

Thanks,
Rob

ive been looking for this functionality as well...doesnt seem that Dialer One has it...hopefully some other app does

OK, I found one that works. It's a free app from the Market called Contacts GroupU. You set a default ringtone for the phone as usual, define your groups, assign ringtones to the groups, assign a ringtone to the all important "wife" and off you go. Later as you add more contacts, you can add the contact to one of the groups.

It works with the default Android Contacts app. So far, with limited testing, it seems to work OK.
