I recently got an HTC one for AT&T. I was going through the motions or unlocking rooting and loading a custom rom when I was in Clock Work Mod Recovery and accidentally hit the sideload option and for the LIFE of me I can not get it to leave or exit it.

Bottom of screen is saying:
Sideload started...
Now send the package you want to apply to the device "adb sideload <filename>

However! Pressing and holding the power button will not let me go back or reset the phone, pressing any combination of keys (that I have found) is not restarting it...

I honestly dont know what to do... Any assistance greatly appreciated. Just got this phone and now im afriad its going to sit here all night with this image and ruin screen, or just brick phone. And of course the battery is permanent, pulling the battery is not an option....

Does volume down and power not do a mock battery pull like most other devices? Not sure it would run in that mode but my razr maxx used this key combo to do the battery pull

The only thing I did that finally ended it, was picked a random small zip file add on from a different rom that I didnt think would harm it.... That ended the nightmare, then I went about flashing the Rom :(

FYI , my experience with the HTC one, is that TWRP works better for a custom recovery installing roms and backing up on the phone.

Next time just hit the back button, It wont hurt anything it will just say sideload failed
