Assistance with the SG3 - S-Voice and Email, OS image, Brightness in the Notification bar

Hello. I am a recent owner of the Samsung Galaxy S3 and I am coming to the Android world after using the Apple iPhone 4S for 11 months. The 4S was used for work and personal and I will be asking some questions based my iPhone 4S experience to find out if there is a better or similiar way to do things on the SG3.

Send email using S Voice
Siri was used daily during my time and it returned information accurately 70 to 80 percent of the time it was reliable for basic tasks (alarm setting, checking emails, and weather). Email is my quesion. Is there a way to use S voice or Google Voice to dictate an email? Such as "Email John, server is down and we are looking into the cause." I know that I have my SG33 dictate an sms from my personal contacts and open apps from the device but not being able to have S voice email is disappointing. Maybe I am missing something. If that is not available in ICS is it available in Jelly Bean or from a 3rd party app?

Is S.A.F.E really ready?
Has anyone used MobileIron MDM and encrypted their SG3 phone to get their corporate email and pim data. How has the phone behaved/responded after the encryption? I quickly notice how the SG3 was becoming sluggish after the encryption, and installing the Samsung and Mobiron agents.


Creating / Restoring a SG3 phone image.
Is there a way to create an "image" of my SG3 containg all the apps,desktop screens, wall paper,and custom settings (without rooting)? I don't mean just backup up data or apps to an SD card. I had to recently wipe my OS so I can remove the device encryption that I added so that I can get my corporate emails on the phone. After deciding not to keep my corp emails and I had to spend a few hours wiping the OS, downloading apps and re-configuring wall paper, launchers, lock screen settings, etc.

Notification Bar
I love the ICS Notification Bar (NB) and look forward to Jelly Bean's enhanced notification bar features. But is there a way in ICS to add additional options to the notification bar choices. One such option that I am interesting in seeing is "Display". We all know how poor the SG3 screen is in direct sun light so swyping down the NB and seeing Display or a display symbol would be soo helpful to quickly adjust the brightness. Today it's three extra taps after sywping the NB,(tap settings icon, tap Display, tap Brightness).

Which Google account should I use?
I use one primary Google account to sync my email, contacts, calendar, media, music, books, etc with my SG3 and they all work very well. I also use the same account name for my SG3. Here is my issue, When I open the Contacts app under the ME section I have a name that created when I setup the SG3 and down the contact list I find my name which contains all my various phone numbers, email addresses, and google info. How can I make my Google account be the contact under the ME section ? I deleted the account this morning and manually created the account and I thought I could join the two but I can't.

Send email using S Voice - I haven't tried to seriously use S Voice; in my opinion it's not ready for prime time. I have read through various posts about it, particularly from iPhone users asking about it, and I'd have to say that you'll probably be disappointed.

Is S.A.F.E really ready? - Sorry, I don't even know what you're talking about.

Creating / Restoring a SG3 phone image. - The short answer is 'No'; without rooting you're limited in being able to backup data, some system settings, etc, but not a complete backup. With that said, rooting is pretty easy.

Notification Bar - without rooting your phone you can't add/subtract anything from the current list of icons that are present. There was a recent update (don't know which carriers it's available on) that added a brightness slider in the Notification bar. There are also a bunch of 3rd party solutions to deal with the brightness issue in other ways if you don't like the solution you currently have.

Which Google account should I use? - my 'Me' section is blank, so I don't even know what you're referring to, and I only use the one Google account that I've always had.

SAFE stands for Samsung Approved For Enterprise. From their website; Samsung for Enterprise
A SAFE device meets Samsung's security criteria and is specifically configured with enterprise use in mind.
No worries. I won't try to chain this beast of a phone by encrypting the data and risk slowing down the performance of this stallion.

Now that you mention that, I do remember seeing the SAFE verbiage somewhere before - I thought it was a completely different device that you purchased for Enterprise usage, not the existing device with a bunch of mods installed - go figure.
