What are some helpful hints to manage your files with this program? I would like to use this as a usb drive to store all my files.

I also notice a ton of file I have no idea what they are (looks like android phone stuff). What can I do with those to clean them up? Can I put them in a file by themselves so I don't have to see them?

Any guidance would be appreciative.

Thanks

I wouldn't move any system files unless you want to turn your phone into a paperweight.

don't touch them, just get used to seeing them or e-mail the devs and ask them to add a hide feature.

Not sure what you mean. That's an extremely vague and broad question. If you're using it as a USB drive you can manage the files while the card is mounted to your PC. Astro can certainly help as well but the app isn't so involved that I really see any hints/tips/secrets to using it.

A good rule of thumb is don't mess with them if you don't know what they are. Your system/apps expect the files on the SD card ot be in a certain location. You can do whatever you want regarding the files that you copy to the card.

Just get a larger sd card. Then you will tons of room. If your not sure about a file then don't delete it. apps also try to store stuff on the sd

Programs might not work right, but you're not going to fry your phone by deleting everything. Many many many many programs leave crap on your SD card when you uninstall them. Some you can identify and some are cryptically named. There's another thread where several people are alleviating slugish performance by formatting their SD card.

Turn your phone off. Take the card out. Reinstall the battery. Turn the phone on. Does it work? Well then, how essential can the files be? Any essential files should be recreated when the blank card is reinserted. However, make sure you save files that you DO want to save. Pictures, downloads, saved games, etc.
