ASUS C302CA so nice...

Just got my Asus c302ca a couple of days ago. I was pleasantly surprised to see the option for the Google Play Store in settings. I checked the box, and that's when the random crashes, reboots and restarts happened. I tried resetting and refreshing Chrome OS and nothing happened to improve the situation. This was with Asus on the stable channel! I also kept getting messages about the Play Store stopping. I must say, I had an Acer r13 before the Asus, and I never had problems with stability on the Acer that I have had with the Asus - and the Acer was on beta. Anyway, I got a Chrome OS update today for the Asus and when I applied it, and restarted, all of my Android apps were gone, along with the option to install Google Play Store. Now the Asus sings - without the Play Store. It's working beautifully. I'm not even sure it's worth it to switch to the beta or the dev channel just to get the Play Store. It's not ready for prime time yet, in my opinion. At least that's the case with Asus. I'll give it awhile before trying with the Play Store again. Maybe after another update or two, the Play Store will be stable enough to use.

Sending mine back today. Was unable to change from developer channel. Spoke with asus then google support. Google had me master reset and now wont boot past white chrome screen. Odd Google made it worse.
