Hey Everyone,
I picked up the ZenFone 2 at the event today and when I got home I popped in my AT&T Sim, called AT&T, updated the imei and no LTE, according to many sites it does support LTE on AT&T but my phone just won't cooperate, any suggestions?

Do you have links to sites that say the zenfone 2 does not support AT&T LTE? Every single article I've seen says it does.

I am using on at&t band 17 as we speak. Check your apn settings. You should be using the " phone" apn.

I would like to change the Sim card to my AT&T from the T-Mobile one that was included. Where are the apn settings as I can't find them?

What's the indication that you're not getting LTE? The status bar icon will say "4G" when you have LTE connectivity. You can also just go into settings -> about and see the exact connection.

Except, the settings are not on my phone and that is why I'm asking. I'm sure that I'm just missing it but with the T-Mobile sim in place I don't have such settings.
Am I missing something here?

So, I spoke to AT&T and they said they do not recognize it as a 4g LTE device. I contacted ASUS about it and they assured me it would work with AT&T and refused to do anything else. Anyone have any way to help?

You need to find someone at ATT who knows what they are doing. They can put it in the system as LTE. If ATT doesn't sell the phone, it is not automatically in the system as LTE.

Easiest way to do this is to put your AT&T SIM card in an AT&T approved LTE device, and register that IMEI with AT&T on the website. Once that's done, you will be provisioned for LTE, and you can drop the SIM card in the ZF2 and you'll get LTE. be sure the APN is correctly set and enabled...I had to go into APN settings and turn on the "phone" APN. for more info try here: Programming non-AT&T devices with the correct APN and MMS data settings- AT&T Wireless Support

Apologize, I'm a little confused. You need to put the AT&T sim card in FIRST...then go to settings -> more -> Cellular networks -> access point names -> SIM 1 and then make sure the APN is correct.

If you use AT&T’s monthly mobile cellular data plan on our ZenFone 2 (ZE551ML) and cannot get 4G/LTE speeds with our device(s) only showing HSPA speeds. Please visit AT&T’s website below and contact AT&T to have AT&T provide access on their 4G/LTE networks with our ZenFone 2 (ZE551ML) device(s).

AT&T's Customer Service Phone Number: 1-800-331-0500

(You may need a new sim card and have AT&T activate our ZenFone 2 (ZE551ML) on AT&T’s high speed 4G network)

The 2 major GSM carriers here in the USA are AT&T and T-Mobile. Please see the following link for APN information:

I just wanted to check in and say thanks. I activated a new sim and it worked without changing anything.

I'm really liking this phone. Nice price point too.

Hello,
I contacted AT&T and gave them my IMEI number and claimed that LTE could not be activated on my device.

Correct. At&t will only provision LTE for one of their approved devices. You need to buy or borrow an at&t LTE device, get your line provisioned for LTE, and then take the SIM card out of that device and drop it into the ZenFone 2. Do NOT call AT&T!

This is basically how I did it. Worked like a charm. Only I activated a new sim over the phone and made sure it worked on my AT&T HTC One M8, then just popped it into my zf2.

Anyone have any luck with having the imei of your ZenFone 2 in ATTs system and getting LTE, I've been working on it for weeks and have gotten no where
