Asus ZenPad 10 Z300C bad performances

Hi guys! I have just switched from an iRULU eXpro 1Plus to a ZenPad 10 Z300C, i have just realized that games on this tablet run really-really bad when compared with the cheap iRULU that i have owned; this is not worrying me too much since i buyed the tablet only for reading purposes but somehow i question myself if i'm missing something! Is this normal? even very simple 2D games are running really bad!

i have tried to run AnTuTu benchmark and it says that the gaming performances are "mid-level", i also have tried the first Tomb Raider game in the tablet and it run smoothly, but some games i'm interested in run in a crappy way (e.g. Lunar Mission or PvZ), why?

I wonder if it has to do with the Atom processor in that tablet. Although app incompatibility with Intel processors is supposedly a thing of the past, I wouldn't be surprised if some apps still aren't completely optimized for it.

Also, make sure the tablet doesn't have any kind of power-saving mode turned on.
