Asus have announced that the Asus ZenWatch 2 will be exhibited at Computex on the 2nd-6th June.

Is there any features people would like to see?

Personally I'd like to see an Android Wear watch released with a speaker and also the ability to take calls through the watch.

Speaker would be nice, at least for alarms or app sound effects. But I'm not too enthusiastic about using watches as a phone--can you imagine how annoying it would be for people to be walking around shouting into their wrist, with a tinny voice screeching back at them?

I'd like to see a screen that is more visible in sunlight, and perhaps a heart monitor that doesn't require two hands to use.

I'd like to see the price stay at $200 or less with the same build quality/materials. A slimmer design of the original with smaller bezel.

Square or circular face?

Tough call... I prefer a slim square face for my personal style (if they can eliminate the massive bezel), but I do feel round faces are the future of AW and the main difference from the @W.

200$ is a good price I agree. Hopefully we can see some improvements, and finally being able to handle an entire what's app/Skype or SMS conversation without having to use voice. I know it's difficult and it does depend on Android Wear future updates. But want to see it becoming that

I got my dates wrong, Computex actually starts on the 1st June in 10 minutes. We should be seeing the first glimpse of the Zenwatch 2!

My first gen zenwatch just shipped....

The gunmetal with the steel band just looks downright sexy. From the looks of it the face didn't seem to change much. I was hoping for a thinner bezel so watch faces can fill in the screen a bit more.

Good looking watch though

Agreed, it looks like a pretty iterative update... None the less, the first gen is still my daily driver smartwatch and I'm interested in this one as well.

I was hoping for something more with regards the spec of the Zenwatch 2 i.e a speaker or NFC chip. This seems a bit of a let down.

I'm going to hold on to see what the Moto 360 2 has, before I decide which to buy.

Yeah its like they've just focused on aesthetics and haven't attempted to improve the hardware. Idiots.

The main interesting point in the Zen 2 is the fact that it exists 2 different sizes. It will open the market to women.

Will the Zenwatch 2 have built in WiFi to stay connected to its phone while they're both on the same WiFi network? My original Zenwatch doesn't and it constantly disconnects from my phone if I don't put my phone in my pocket while I'm walking around the house.

They shaved 2mm off the length, but added it them to the width. The end result makes it look bigger overall to me. I'll definitely be keeping my gen 1 until a looker comes out with Wallet/Pay compatibility.

That's dumb, the thickness is the most important form factor. So is the screen smaller but it's thicker?? Sounds like a downgrade.
