AT&T Top 5% policy explained

Does this mean AT&T has ended their unlimited data plans. Everyone that goes over 3GB will be throttled?

If you are still on unlimited, you get EDGE over 3GB for no extra charge. If you're on a 3GB tiered plan, you will pay $10 per GB over 3. Now you have a clear choice, speed or cost.

Considering the spectrum crunch that is coming this is not surprising. I think we will see more changes from all companies over the next 12-18 months.

At least it is better then what you get out of Tmobile. As soon as you go past 2gb you get throttled, and their speeds are for the most part slower then AT&T's.
