I used to have AT&T Prepaid about 3 years ago when I had my Samsung Galaxy Express. Amazing phone and amazing service. The plan wasn't very good though. 2.5 GB of Data for 60 dollars a month, with an extra 1 GB for 10.00 dollars after that.... I now have T-Mobile for a much better price for unlimited, but AT&T was so much better service-wise when I had them. AT&T changed their 60 dollar plan however now and you get 5GB of 4GLTE and then after that speeds are reduced to 128kbs, where as before they just cut you off and you had no data.

Anybody have any have an idea if that's 2G or 3G or what? Or if I can even add more 4G data like before? I'm thinking about trying to get my T-Mobile GS5 unlocked and bringing it to AT&T.

3G usually hits 1.5mbps max. So that's some really old Edge service right there lol

I'm not sure of the slower speeds but it's not to bad,but you can buy 1gig of high speed data for $10.00 plus any remaining minutes roll over.

Would your T-Mo GS5 support LTE on AT&T? I wouldn't hop unless your phone would ride the AT&T LTE band(s).
