For some illogical reasons AT&T decided early on to disable access to non-market apps. Their excuse of "protecting" you makes no sense.
Now that Amazon came up with a market of their own, even that "protection" excuse makes no sense.
AT&T stated some time ago that they are working on a way for their users to use Amazon's Apps market. What is happening with that? Is it going to happen soon? This year? Ever??
They are collecting (on their site) email addresses of interested people. I guess if enough bother to sign up they will consider it "worth their effort"
