I'm a newbee to Andriod with the Xperia X10. Love the phone, camera and battery life potential for talk time. Already I can see issues with the 1.6. I've researched how to debrand the phone and put in 2.1, but I have found nothing that tells me how to Save the Original Factory format in case I have a warranty issue with AT&T. This would be a great post for a newbee section.

Basically, I want the ability to set this back to AT&T default so they do not know I have reflashed this phone

Can anyone help me with these steps?

Thanks in Advance for your support.

Nothing yet as I've been traveling to much. I love this phone, but the benefits of 2.1-2.2 would be great. It will be years before AT&T 4G means anything to me (I travel a lot) so the battery life and features of this platform are great. Looks like the Arc will replace it soon though. For how much money I spend on cell phone coverage with AT&T you'd think they'd be happy to keep me as a customer.

I think i am going to attempt the whole process through davinci team site.
The admin was responding back to me yesterday on sunday.
Just got to get the balls up to do it. Will let you know
