I have a samsung captivate and had it for about 4 months now. I recetly received a suvery email from AT&T asking a bunch of questions on how the service is, how the phone is, how do I use my data plan.., version of Android OS running on the phone..etc. At the end of the survery , I get this question (below).
Would you be interested in hearing more about an opportunity to participate in a two-week AT&T user trial to test a Wi-Fi App on your cell phone that simplifies access to Wi-Fi hotspots and helps manage data usage?
The trial would be at NO cost to you and all information you provide will be kept strictly confidential and will not be used for any sales or marketing purposes. At the end of the two-week trial you would fill out an online survey to tell us what you think.
Once I had select "Yes" to the above question, then I get the screen below.
