I'm pretty sure alot of other phone companies do this but I posted a review about how the Inspire '4G' wasn't truly 4G & the Up/Down speeds aren't that great & I'm even in a city that's sure to have backhaul enabled. To just beware that they've capped data on this & the Atrix.

Well got an email saying my review has been denied by AT&T Customer Support.

Guess they don't want their customers knowing the truth until they purchase the phone & experience it themselves.

Nothing but great reviews for the phone itself though. Best phone I've ever had...just a pity AT&T has forced this cap, I'm sure HTC isn't happy about this either.

If you were suppose to be reviewing the Inspire and were ranting about the 4G instead I can understand why they might of denied it. It still kinda stinks that they did this but maybe trying to keep it about the phone. Just saying.....

Well if your purchasing the phone thinking it's going to get 4G service like they are advertising, yet when you get the phone you find out that the provider is capping speeds for these phones but not the iPhone.

Now wouldn't that prompt you to be a little upset, knowing that the phone you purchased is well capable of HSPA+ but is no where near that speed?

...just saying

When I bought the Inspire yesterday the sales rep informed me ahead of time that I wasn't going to see 4G speeds on it at this time even though that is what the box advertises. He said it would be at least a few months till 4G is actually up and running in my area. From what I have seen so far, the Inspire is pretty darn fast, and is on par with the iPhone 4 that I was using.

I agree...it is quick. Faster than Verizon for sure. Alot of people on Verizon make fun of AT&T but it is quicker.

I know AT&T is faster in terms of data speeds right now, but Verizon will quickly pull ahead now that they are coming out with LTE. AT&T has a lot if work to do if they are going to stay ahead of the rest. It will definitely be interesting to see how it goes....
