I got it last night, also. Once download completed it said the package was invalid and didn't install. When I tried to search for an update again I was informed my phone was up to date. I wonder if AT&T pulled this package? I was really hoping for a 'batter full' notification fix.
Well, I just got it this morning. Ready2Go was already on my phone before the update, so that's not new. Seems like an excessive update if all it did was add a new app. Gotta be something under the hood in the firmware as well I imagine. If they actually got rid of that battery full warning I think I'll probably weep with relief. That is the single most annoying thing on an otherwise great phone.
The markets who can use volte first are District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin, with more to come.*
I did the update last night and had to re-pair both my bluetooth devices (Motorola and Onstar). But didn't see any added bloatware, but I really don't pay much attention to apps unless I use them.
As for coverage....where I live, not available yet anyway.
I wonder if Onstar will update their modules for this to work on VoLTE on ATT networks. I think I'll write them....
I received this update yesterday, after download and install, my G3 keeps rebooting and doesnt get passed the first LG screen, I tried to reboot into recovery mode, same thing, doesnt get pass the LG screen. any thoughts?
