At&t Galaxy S4 4.3 update issue

Hey guys. I bought a s4 when I was traveling to the us, and i unlocked it. Now I am here in brazil, my country, and I won't go back to the us. I want/need to update to 4.3 because I want to buy a galaxy gear, but i was reading here that i can't update without att network connection, and I am not able to connect because I am in brazil. Any suggestions? I just need to update... NOTE:I AM NOT ABLE TO CONNECT TO ATT, I HAVE A SIM CARD BUT IT IS INVALID ON BRAZIL. Thank you guys.

Dude root it your lucky your on 4.2.2 root it and you can flash kit kat and even the Google play addition vanilla android just like a nexus go to XDA and look for lokidoki he'll if that phone is in perfect working order I'll trade with you I want an unlock able boot loader ; (
