AT&T Gingerbread leak 2.3.6

There's been another AT&T Gingerbread leak. Check out Jordan's rooted 2.3.6 version with entropy512's kernel. Running real smooth. Everything's seems to be working.

Regarding this post, is the "leak" regarding a Root update or an actual update to the Infuse? I have been waiting on an actual update so I haven't rooted yet. I don't know how much longer I'm going to wait.

It's a leaked update packaged in a custom rom so yeah you still need root and CWM. It not an ATT official update version leak that you phone can run without root. Gingerbread does this phone wonders.

this update will hold me over for until ICS device now. much better touchwiz, battery, email client, and WiFi!

I'd like to propose a new marketing plan for AT&T and Samsung <;-p

Sell phones with a crippled OS then after 12 months, offer the real OS in return for a one-year extension on the commitment. Guaranteed to make your customers love you.

lol. That would be horrible since new phones come out every other month and the tech freaks want the latest and greatest devices lol. Best bet is to install a custom rom from the guys over at XDA. When I had the Infuse, Infused V2.1 was on my phone and the GB leaked rom was on it to because these carriers will take forever getting them prepared.
