Received the update. So far so good but definitely need to get used to the new look. On my wifi it took about 25 minutes. Have yet to clear cache partition, though I did so about a week ago.

Mine is the plain GS6.

Got my update yesterday and everything was fine. This morning my alarm went off at 5, turned it off and now it's like it's rebooting. I have the padlock with the green and blue circle going around it. It's been doing this for over an hour now. Phone is hot. No clue what to do.

Update: apparently my wall charger isn't working anymore. I put it on the charger last night and it didn't charge, so my battery died this morning.

Any hints on controlling the app optimization features? I want to tell it to not ever optimize some apps, and make some apps always optimized.

And I found the "hand off" list at the bottom of the list of items running. If you tap that you are taken to a screen where you can add/delete to a list of items which can consume as much power as they want.

Not sure if this is what you are after.

Settings, Device Maintenance, Battery.

Here you can select the apps you want to turn off from using the battery.

Ok Google wasn't working. After verifying the setting and rebooting, I cleared the cache partition and it started working again.
