AT&T HTC One - Messaging App Trouble after 4.3 upgrade

After doing the 4.3 upgrade, my messaging app is not putting the latest text message at the top when I open the messaging app. Also, I have received a couple of texts that have not been recorded in the threads from the texter sending me a message. I have gone into the settings and made sure that texts are sorted as most recent, but that hasn't done anything. Anyone else having troubles ?
