To make a long story short. I'm on my 3rd G2. I had to replace the first 2 for defects and they gave me a real hard time with the second return and said I had to go through warranty center but I just noticed that the handsets call speaker is distorted!!! I just got off the phone with my gf and I noticed it earlier but it's buzzing pretty bad when I'm listening. I didn't notice all day cause most my voice calls were on my car speakers.

Has anyone had to make this many 14 day period defect store returns before? I don't want to end up having to go through warranty center and getting a refurbished model.

If you're like me, my electronics need to be in Perfect and I mean P E R F E C T working order. While I haven't had to make that many return trips for a defective unit I've made more than that is if wasn't perfectly happy. I have absolutely no problem returning an item. Especially one that has any perceived defect. The carrier has $$ billions, I suspect you may not. Take that phone back and let them know the device you keep needs to be without any flaws. Be polite of course, you're at their mercy. I will not suggest it's an LG G2 manufacturing teething problem as I'm sure there are plenty of owners that have that flawless G2. AT&T is not going to hang you, but, again, you are at their mercy. They may suggest you get a different device.

Take it back.

You paid for it, therefore it should work accordingly!!! I am with you 100% Screw them if they are unhappy! If you feel uncomfortable, and if there is one close, go to another att store and return it.

I would try another AT&T corporate store. If they still give you a hard time call the warranty center. Chances are they don't have refurbished phones for that yet. They'll wind up getting you a new phone anyway. I'm on my 5th HTC One and found out that they gave me a new one the last time I got it. It was just made. You need to be happy with your purchase. I find out if you call and you're nice to them they give you pretty much anything you need. As long as you get the right person. Good luck! Let us know.

I'm going to try another location. I've been to 3 already and they are getting further and further away lol.

Should I even mention the previous 2 returns? I'm also worried that they might not hear the problem because it's noisy in the store. They also like to say it's out of stock too. I'll keep you posted

I had to return my first HTC One and ya I could tell the rep was annoyed, I didn't care, screw it, its his job! Also if you think they are going to be that upset, make up some crap! Say it shuts off periodically or something like that and restarts for no reason. I am not a fan of lying, but when it comes to corporations who make millions, screw them! I don't care it you payed $199 or $700....make sure its up to your standards!!! Just remember its man made and nothings perfect, but make sure you are happy with it!

I don't know why a rep would be annoyed, I mean it's still considered a sale right?

That's is exactly what I do. Especially if the problem is so intermittent. So what if it doesn't do it in the store. They don't use the phone hours a day. We do...

Sorry for delay in response but I did get it replaced at a different location. This one is finally all good. I was disappointed though at their presentation of the phone. Here is a post I left on different thread.

I was at an att store Friday 9/20 and they had no cases or screen protectors out for G2. The phone on display had no power or description label either. I asked why no love? They said it just went on shelf yesterday and they didn't have time too give it any love.

Hmmm......a week since launch day. are they just that lazy or do they just don't give a damn?

I came across the same thing. I wanted to see and touch the phone before buying one. I went into a Verizon store at the mall and they had one on display like you said. No power, but I was at least able to hold it. I went upstairs to the ATT store, and they didn't even have it on display, but the guy brought one out from the back and powered it on for me. So I was able to play with it. Then I went home and ordered the ATT G2 from Costco.
