Anyone use this to transfer contacts, pics, and videos to their new phone?

Nope. I've been on AT&T for years, with BlackBerry's up to this point. AT&T Mobile Transfer was available for my BlackBerry's also. Have never tried it - call me skeptical, but I just always figured the OS developer's tools - whether its RIM or Google - are likely better than something developed by a carrier.

It seems like a pretty easy way to transfer contacts, photos and videos.

Sorry didn't try it. typed in my google account and got all my contacts from there instantly.

I have used it with my last two phones. Works fine, or has for me. Both phones have to be on the list of compatible devices. Phones Supported
