Well, as the title states, this is about the MM update to the AT&T Note Edge variants.

After the MM update a few days ago, the longest "uptime" I have been able to get is about 4 hours without a random reboot.

Yes, I have done a complete wipe/reset and even with the "stock" only apps (and removed the SD Card), I still can't get more than several hours of uptime. I even switched batteries (I had a spare from a swap I did with AT&T a while back, I don't use aftermarket batteries).

Anyone else seeing this going on?

We updated two AT&T Note Edge Phones four days ago and have not experienced any problems at all!

I guess it is something on the phone. I did a full force recovery without installing any apps other than what the device came with. Used it for a day and still rebooted every 1.5 to 4 hours. Most times, it would reboot multiple times (only way to stop it was battery pull) and kill my battery. After battery pull, it would restart 2-3 times before it stopped doing it.

Device is out of warranty, so I ended up filing an insurance claim. Thankfully, the deductible went from $225 to $112, so not as bad, and they are sending me a Silver S7 Edge 32GB instead of another Note Edge since they no longer have them.

This is good since they will likely give me a better trade-in valuation on the S7 for a Note 7 than they would have for my Note Edge. Well, that is IF I decide to trade it in. May just keep them both or sell the S7 on CraigsList for maximum dollar value.

Who knows.

By "full force recovery," do you mean that you reinstalled the firmware?

Yes. Ultimately, I was given 2 choices:

1. Send it back to Samsung for repair and pay for it (out of warranty)
2. Insurance Exchange (deductible was $225, but since we had no claims for over 12 months, they discounted it to $112)

I took Option 2 and am now using a Galaxy S7 Edge until I can get my Note 7.

Well, I guess that's the best possible outcome in your situation. $112 isn't all that bad for a phone as high end as an S7 edge! :)

Welcome to my hell. It's been that way since the update. All we can do is hope Samsung will fix it.

I'm thinking about getting a note 4 edge (refurbished) as a temporary phone when I take back my N7. Is everyone still having the reboot problem?
