Hello. My phone is set to auto-connect to known WIFIs. While traveling this past week, I noticed my phone was trying to auto-connect to airport terminals and I received a "confirm" request, which I accepted (without paying attention). Now, when at a location with free and open WIFI, AT&T Passpoint auto connects as the priority and will even disable the WIFI point I select to reconnect itself.

The problem is not once did I actually have INTERNET while connected to AT&t Passpoint. As soon as I connected to another WIFI I had super fast content downloads.

Does anyone know where in Settings I can disable this internet connection? I would be happy to use it, but frankly, in a week's worth of traveling, 3 airports, several stores, etc. I never had Internet until I physically selected another connection.

Is it possible that there is a user setting on my end that is preventing internet access while connected to Passpoint?

Do you have the AT&T plan that allows you to connect to it? Also, where are you traveling at?

In Wifi (long-press the Wifi icon), find the connection you want to disable. Long-press it. Choose Forget.

Depending on the country you're traveling to I'd recommend using AT&T International Day Pass where you can just use your current call, text and data plan for just $10 a day.
