I'm curious to know if anyone has rooted the AT&T version yet. If you have, how is it performing so far?

The lag is still getting ridiculous and I really need to fix that.

I've rooted my T-Mobile G4 and I've noticed better performance (did a factory reset after root just for good measure).

I use to get random occurrences of lag that basically rendered the phone useless. Have not had that problem since I rooted it, but it hasn't been a week yet.

Subscribing! Lag on my ATT is all of the sudden showing up as well. I will be curious to see if there is anything to be fixed by rooting this phone. I had zero issues for 3 weeks then all of the sudden it gets stuck or lags really bad at times..

Well, my G4 has been great, no lag that I have noticed, but I use Nova Prime with animations set to max speed as well as animations set to 0 in developer options. I rooted it today (AT&T) and removed the useless apps and it seems to be running just as fast if not faster.
