AT&T S3 4.3 Update abruply stopped

Not sure what happened but last night when I checked for available software updates for my AT&T S3 I had a 623.10mb software update there so I proceeded to attempt to download it.. It started right up and reached 120 MB and 20% after more than an hour of the download when it stopped with no way resume or continue it.. WHEN I CHECKED AGAIN FOR SOFTWARE UPDATES IT SAID I COULD CHECK BACK IN 22 HOURS AND 34 MINUTES.. I called AT&T and they called Samsung and they said I was wrong, as the 4.3 update had not been released to AT&T. I spent an hour on the phone wit AT&T and while they were very nice and really tried to help, there was nothing they or I could do.. I called Samsung directly and the tech I spoke to said it had not been released to AT&T for the S3 and that the were having all sorts of issues.. I told him I had downloaded 120mb's and he said it was not possible.. I told him to Google it and he would see that people had been downloading it to the AT&T S3 for more than a day.. Bottom line I was not able to get it downloaded and not sure I will be able to download it tonight either..

Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this??
 
This has happened to me twice. Wednesday night, I checked for the update. It began downloading; but at 9% it disappeared and I also was given the prompt to check again after so many hours. Same thing last nite. So annoying. I contacted AT&T and Samsung...they were no help.
 
It's just as well. After I upgraded a few days ago, I found the phone to be very slow (especially when booting - it takes forever now). So, I did a factory reset. That barely fixed the problem (still long time to boot, but maybe just a tad faster).

Then I let Google update all my previous apps (and as usual, that failed, so I did the rest manually).

Once I got them all installed, I ran into problems when I booted the phone. MAJOR problems - like it hung at boot. So I had to reset it again, the problem repeated itself.

So now I've done a third factory reset and have only installed a handful of the apps I had installed before the update and it's working OK (boot is still slow though). I hope AT&T/Samsung fixes this soon!
 
Hi Just tried changing the date and checked for software updates but it said that my download was incomplete and that the phone would automatically recheck for updates over the next 48 Hours
