My AT&T S6 updated this morning. It appears just to be a security update, but the Bluetooth battery drain that I have had for the last 3 months or so seems to be gone. Battery drain seems to be a little more stable now with Bluetooth on, whereas before I had a terrible drain when Bluetooth was turned on. Just a heads up for anybody else on AT&T that might have had a unusual Bluetooth drain.

Mod note: added S6 to title for clarification.

Hope the update works out well. I have a Note 5 that hasn't been updated since November.

I got the update yesterday as well. I too was totally hoping it would be the Marshmallow update but I just knew it wouldn't. I'll probably have an S7 before we get that update on the AT&T S6. It's so annoying that it takes so long for carriers to release Android updates. Oh well..

I have an AT&T S6 Edge and I noticed the same with the battery, on the previous version OJ7 I would have great battery life for the first 2 days and then it would start to tank. I'd also start experiencing various Wifi and Bluetooth issues. I'm at 4 days uptime now and I haven't had any of these issues so far so it seems like it resolved that issue. It does annoy me that the build was completed on Jan 29th and we just got it over a month later. I guess it's also fixed in M but they had to delay the release (big surprise there....). One thing of note still, after every update I keep testing out Enhanced LTE and I keep finding the drain gets unbearable after a few days. I live in an area with mostly LTE but with area's with either very weak coverage and some area's where it has to drop back to 4G so this might make it worse for me than say someone with LTE everywhere. Still I'm hoping one of these days they get it working properly or at least improve their LTE coverage.
