Can anyone confirm / provide a screenshot if the s7 active on AT&T brought 3 carrier aggregation with the nougat update?

Tell me where to check and I'll look tomorrow for you... I've never heard or seen that term before in any of the settings or advanced menus.

Update: I just found and read this article - the last sentence states "To be clear, though, three-channel carrier aggregation must be enabled both in the network and on the users’ device." I searched my S7 Active and found no such setting!

http://www.fiercewireless.com/wirel...ing-3-channel-carrier-aggregation-lte-network

"Schwadron added that AT&T currently sells 26 devices that are “LTE-A capable,” and that the carrier lists them on its website." I searched for about twenty minutes and found no list! Of course, the damned article is from 2014!!!

How do you activate it or where do you check to see if it's activated.

Activated automatically with Nougat. Dial *#0011# to get to service menu, if you are on a 3CA tower, and your phone is using constant data, you will see 3 sections of CA and it will tell the 3 bands being used and their bandwidths

Awesome Jeremy - Great Info... thank you!!!

From what I am seeing my phone isn't using the 3CAA, is that correct since there are only two CAA listings?

You actually are using 3CA in that screenshot. I should have explained further.

That menu shows your main band which is download and upload - you'll see - LTE RRC Conn band 30 at 10x10

Then 2 more carriers / bands are aggregated to your main band 30 to add to your download

CA add s1 - band 2 with a bandwidth of 10 mghz
And then another carrier, your third, added -
CA add s2 - band 12 with a bandwidth of 10 mghz

You have a total of 30 mghz of download between the three, and since upload can't be aggregated at this time, you have 10 mghz of upload from your main carrier band 30

Granted the bands and positions will change, sometimes you'll get 3CA, sometimes 2CA, sometimes no aggregation
