Also, T-mobile's network is on a different band, so it will only be good for future devices that are set up for all the different bands.

I was less enthusiastic when I read about this. Mainly because competition is a good thing.

I have read multiple things from multiple credible resources. Some say T-Mobile USA is going to stay like it is, just AT&T owns it instead of T-Mobile GER. Others say that over the next year T-Mobile users are going to be forced to by new headsets to work with AT&T.

The deal will take over a year to complete. THEN they'll start integrating everything.

I'm sure it'll be about a two years before they force anyone to move to a certain phone etc. I just like the idea that hopefully ATT's network will get even faster due to the amount of T-Mobile towers already up. It'll help them out tremendously.

A win win for both companies T-mobile will expand coverage and AT&T will expand there 3G service and eventually the so called 4G service as well.
