Can someone tell me the difference in both?

Does the At&t version for $600 have all the bloatware an Sense 5 plus its unlocked i assume?

And the GPE on the Google Play Store is unlocked,no Sense 5 an updates are quicker? Or is that only the DEV edition?

I have the Htc One from At&t but it was with a renewed contract plus it has the bloatware an also Sense 5 like normal. I like the Google Play Edition cause its simple but yet you can still customize it. I know i can root/flash the One i have now but im not into doing all of that an rather just have the GPE as the main OS out of the box. So im considering paying the full price for a new Htc One but my questions up above have me confused in which to get.

This is true

"GPE on the Google Play Store is unlocked,no Sense 5 and updates are quicker with no ATT bloatware"

If you run an RUU GPE for the HTC one. It will load the exact same software, you will get the OTA updates, and it wont be rooted.

Hmm how hard is it to do all of this? An can it be changed back to stock Sense 5 in case i have to return it to at&t for repairs or issues? I never rooted before so im almost clueless on how to run RUU GPE.

Its up to you. Search is your friend. RUUs are easy. as long as you have ALL the drivers insalled on you computer. Along with the software needed from HTC. It doesnt involve rooting. And yes, You can just do the same thing back to sense 5. Just depends on what RUU you run (GPE, or Sense 5)

Im tempted to try the RUU process out but ''iffy'' on it...Then if i get the GPE from the play store im worried that i may get a defective One.
