Atrix boots, but I can't access anything! Please Help!

I posted this in the Atrix forums but haven't got any responses. I apologize if this is the wrong place to post this question. So, here goes. My Atrix crashed a few days ago after ADW launcher locked up and I had to force close it. The phone was locked up at that point so I pulled the battery. Ever since, the phone will boot, but I can't unlock the screen or access anything via the touch screen. I can see the notification bar and I hear notifications from my calendar. It seems as if everything is working in the background, I just can't access anything. After researching, I haven't been able to find a solution, so I really hope someone can give me a hand. If it can't be fixed other than a hard reset, is there any way to backup my device using adb since I have no access to the device? Thanks in advance!

Not quite sure exactly what info you want to backup. Contacts and calendar should have been synced to google, so that would probably only leave sms and notes.

I really wouldn't want to restore any possible corrupted data after you do your factory reset, as you may wind up in the same place.
