att free locker storage Discontinued

I hope AT&T can tell me how to remove the app in my s7 edge. Since app will be useless this August.
Anyone know what they are planning to do?

It's true that we're discontinuing AT&T Locker ; I apologize for any inconvenience this causes. You can find more information here.

To uninstall the app from your phone, follow these easy instructions:

• To uninstall an app, select and hold the desired app, then select Uninstall.

Note: Some pre-installed applications cannot be uninstalled from the device but can be disbaled. Some applications must remain enabled on the device.

Some pre-installed applications cannot be uninstalled from the device....

This is normally one of the largest complaints.

This is why, when I switched from iPhone to Android last year, I would only buy an unlocked device and refused to purchase direct from AT&T. I've been a satisfied AT&T customer for many years but no way do I want provider installed bloatware on a device that I can't remove. I'll buy another Android this year or next - really liking it - but again will not accept provider bloat.

thanks all. I am aware of how to remove apps. This app has to be disabled. (bloatware) But that's the problem. I WANT IT GONE. Especially since I can't decide to start using it again. AT&T needs to remove it with an update in the future.
