My daily driver is a Note 2 on ATT. I use a Nexus 4 on the weekends because it is smaller and I do not need as much battery life etc on the weekends.

2 of the things I dislike the most about my Nexus 4 are:

Lack of LTE and 16GB of storage. Yes I use three cloud accounts but they are just not as convenient regardless of what the true Nexus lovers say.

I am interested in hearing Optimus G users likes and dislikes about the Optimus G on ATT. I know they are similar in form factor and specs but not OS. Thanks very much!

The phone is fantastic. I compared it against the Nexus 4. Before this I owned an HTC One X, which I didn't like so that's what prompted my search for a new phone. I bought an S3 and used it for about 5 days and didn't like that either, mainly because I didn't like the form factor and the battery life was crap. I just got the Optimus G about 3 weeks ago and love everything about it. If I had to point out one downside, it is that the phone still doesn't have an update. But that was one of the things I weighed heavily, and decided I could live with it.

Buy the phone. It's the best Android phone I've ever used. It's lightning fast, got a beautiful screen, good battery life, and a great camera. Trust me you won't regret your purchase.

I came from a Note 2 as well and have 0 regrets. The N2 was smooth, but this phone absolutely takes smooth to a new level. Performance is a night and day difference...it really is. The screen is also a gigantic upgrade...clarity is unbelievable. Build quality is also a big plus for the OG. If you're in to screen protectors, go for the Realook...just got mine installed today and you honestly can't even tell it's on.

OP, so are you switching the sim card between devices every weekend? Seems like a BIG hassle.

The LGOG is a little bit faster and when using it, the battery % can really drop. The app drawer does not automatically sort when new apps are added. The LGOG hasthe menu and back buttons opposite of the Note2.

The only thing I like on the LGOG over the Note2 is the tabbed settings menu.

If you are going to switch between phones for the weekend, I would suggest another phone from Samsung such as the S3 or the upcoming S4. That way the user experience will be very similar.

I have both the LGOG first and then the Note2 and once I got the Note2 I never even considered going back to the LGOG.
