Att S4 Dial Codes

I am trying to perform a complete wipe of my device and firmware reinstall with the following dial code:

*2767*3855# It's a complete wiping of your mobile also it reinstalls the phones firmware

However when I attempt to do this I get the following error message:

"USSD running" and like 2 seconds later the message "Connection problem or invalid MMI code"

I did try and root the device but reinstalled the FW thru Odin.

Any assistance is appreciated

Are you not able to just either boot in to recovery and do a factory reset or do it from the Backup and Restore menu? It all does the same thing. What phone do you have? What image did you try to ODIN on to the phone?

Well I installed a ROM that I thought was the 4.4 KK but there were some things that were off....a kid's mode.... Anyways I'm on the ATT S4. Getting the M9 but I want to completely restore to out of the box if possible.

Ok this thread should be able to get you where you want to be. Or you can download Samsung Kies and have it do the return to stock for you as well.
