Att update question/ bug on my note.

So i bought this galaxy note and it had ics on it. Very buggy and it always had Att update communication failed and servers are busy. Will try again later or something like that. just popping up on my screen randomly. So i put the stock 2.3.6 back and it still pops up randomly but not as often. Any ideas on how to make this stop? I know there is no update yet plus it kept sayin it when there was ics on it. Please help. Thanks.

Well i went to the Att update loader and cleared the data. So far so good.

for avoid more search, this is the instructions:
open Settings...Applications...Manage Applications. Press the menu button and select Filter...All. Find Device management, open it and tap the Clear data button.
or
Settings...Applications...All Applications. Find Att Software Update, open it and tap the Clear data.
