Attached Photos in Messages acting like videos

The phone didn't used to do this, but now when I get a tap on a photo telexed to me it "plays" it like it's a video. I can no longer view just hte photo and zoom in on it. Anyone know what's wrong with my phone?

Me three. I first noticed it when a friend sent me a picture of her sons first day of school. I could not do anything to it like zoom or even save it and it looked it wanted to play the picture as a one or two second video. And yes she took it like a picture, it is stored on her phone as a picture and you can zoom and save. I too would like to know what gives. Since then it has happened again to me from a different sender. Maybe that will be fixed in the GB update if we as Charge owners ever see it!

The only way to view is downloading the attacked files. Sucks ass

The Ginderbread leaks still do this. It has something to do with Samsung's messaging app.

i use handcent but i think the only time that happens to me is when i get a piv from someone with a blackberry
