Attaching picture in text message

I want to be able to choose where I want the picture to attach from in my text message. Example, choose from Bitmoji or Gallery. I accidentally chose "always" from the gallery and.now that is my only option. How do I change it back? Reset has not worked.

Open phone settings and click on default applications. Click on Set as default. Click on Gallery. Clear default for gallery.
Or you can go to application manager and click on galley. Clear defaults for gallery.

BTW, "Gallery" is the entire phone. (Media Scan picks up all pictures on the phone when you turn it on, then makes a database of them. [The same with videos, sound files, etc.] Gallery, the app, looks in the database for files. So whether you choose a picture from its original folder, or from that folder because it was found there by Media Scan, it's the same file.
