Attention Police Scanner App Users: Feeds going away!

Just a heads up to all you scanner app users....many of the scanner feeds you are used to listening to may be going away soon.

Most of these scanner feeds come from Radioreference.com, and they have recently announced that they are spinning off the scanner feed service to a new website called Broadcastify. This has angered many of the people that provide the scanner feeds because they will no longer receive a premium subscription to RR in return for providing their feeds, so many of them are going to stop providing the feeds. Some have already pulled their feeds.

Based on the Forum conversation going on at RR there is certainly some discontent about the 10/15 changeover to their new site. I'm not getting the impression that there will be a major drop-off of feeds but there is definitely going to be some feed providers jumping ship.
