audible notification while on a call

Is there a way to have audible notifications while on a phone call? On my EVO it is possible, but not finding a way on the Optimus. I'm running ThundeROM 1.3 if that makes a difference.

you know whats annoying? try receiving a call while Google maps Navigation is running! not yet smart enough to mute Voice NAV on call.
