Audio DAC in Droid Charge?

Hey guys,

It seems that the Samsung Galaxy S, one of the Charge's predecessor, has the Wolfson's WM8994 DAC inside. Does anyone know what kind of DAC is inside the Charge? The Galaxy SII has a Yamaha chip.

I'm going to get the Voodoo installed on my phone and I understand that it was also released for the Galaxy S has an improvement for the Wolfson DAC.

Any input is much appreciated,

The Charge does have the Wolfson WM8994 inside, but the headphone jack itself isn't immune to static/hiss with or without Voodoo Sound enabled.

ugh, I just wish there was a way to connect the phone's DAC directly to my amp.
