Audio/Music Bluetooth Autoplay starts from beginning of track everytime it is connected. Help!

I actually like the bluetooth audio autoplay function, however I listen to audiobooks and whenever I sit in the car, the audioplayer instead of picking up where it left off, starts at the beginning of the track. This is extremely annoying and I have a feeling there must be a setting to correct this.

I had the Sony Xpreia Z3 before this phone, and Sony had a proprietary software that would play the audio where it left off last.

Unfortunately it seems that is app-dependent. Spotify, for instance, will pick up right where you left off (when it works, as Spotify has never gotten BT right). Have you tried a different audiobook player?
