It sounds good. Maybe a tad muffled. Definitely not tinny. I have no problem listening to music on it in my kitchen.

It sounds very good. I think it's actually a little nicer sounding than echo which was always a little tinny.

Yes, it shows up as a cast receiver from my phone and can cast to it

Awesome that's what I was wanting to hear. My wife doesn't like the idea of it always listening (paranoid) but I really want one especially to cast music to.

Is anyone else having issues playing music from their library? Everything I ask Google home to play a song or Playlist, it says that it can't find that right now and will play a random music station.

It actually sounds pretty good. Not as good as my Bose Soundlink but pretty close.

EDIT: also, I'm a spotify premium customer and have spotify as my default music service. It works very well! I can say "play "song" by "artist"" and it starts playing it. I can also tell it to start playing a certain playlist on spotify and it recognizes it and plays it. pretty sweet!

Same here, it sounds pretty good, not tinny. But a bit muffled,especially the google's voice.

It has more bass than it needs. Its not bad for the price point and what it can do. I'm hooking mine up to surround sound using chromecast
