Audio question: 4K vs 1080p...Is there a difference?

I just picked up the S5 a couple weeks ago and I've been experimenting with the camera. There is obviously a big difference in the video quality between 4K and 1080p but does anyone know if the audio quality would be different. I play the piano and the video quality isn't a big deal to me when recording as much as the audio quality would be. It seems like the audio is a little more rich using 4K but that could just be my imagination too. Just wondering if it's worth worrying about. The Galaxy S2 (that I replaced with the S5) was not nearly as good to record with so either way will already be way better off than I was....but if 4K records better audio, why not use the best?

Apologies if this question has already been answered but a quick search didn't yield any results.
Thanks

Funny you mention that because I have two of them that I tried to make work with the Galaxy S2. I'll probably try those too on this phone to see what I end up with.

Accessory support has gotten much better in the last few years. Companies have actually started building specifically for mobile devices as well (Samsung and Blu come to mind for mics).

FYI, 4k cuts off after 5 minutes to prevent overheating. I'm assuming your piano pieces are longer than that?

Also, if audio quality is important to you, the S6 samples audio at double the bitrate of the S5 (258 Kbps vs 123 Kbps).
