Augmented Reality Game for Android Wear

Recently released proof of concept augmented reality game for android wear smartwatches (totally free – no in-app purchases or ads). Shows what can be done by using watch screen backgrounds (and associated tracking points) to display augmented reality games and various other content over the watch face. Augmented reality smartwatch apps could open up a whole new realm of possibilities for the smartwatch form factor.

Tried it out, it's pretty cool.

Question. Would it still work if I just pasted a printout of that stone background onto my wrist? Or does the game use additional information from the watch?
