I guess Google has been so busy with the 6a that maybe they forgot about the 6 and 6pro.

It is always the first Monday of the month unless it is a holiday. Something is wrong this month.

i had to remind myself that I am on 13 beta and we don't get regular security updates... only beta updates at random times.

It seems like since the 6 line came out, Google has lost their clockwork like update schedule. My first 2 pixels literally got their updates like clockwork until support ended. Maybe the new chipset is slowing them down... I hope so, because I got pretty spoiled. I'd like a similar update experience on me and the wife's new pixels as I had on the old ones :p

Usually, Pixel devices receive the update on the first Monday of each month unless Monday is a holiday. Samsung devices receive their update sometime during the month. We never know what day or which country will receive it first. They might start with Afghanistan or Djibouti or Singapore or maybe USA. And it takes several weeks for the whole world to get the update. Apple on the other hand, when they release an update the WHOLE WORLD receives it at the same time. They each do things their own way, and that’s fine with me. I enjoy both platforms, Android and iOS.

It was the same here. I just bought the 6 pro. Still no update as of this morning. But when I had my Pixel 2 XL and my 4XL they would usually get the updates quickly.

This isn't the August update, but a hotfix per Verizon. "Meanwhile, Verizon published details about an unscheduled update for the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro devices on its network (via 9to5Google). It details a July 2022 security patch for the devices with a build number (SQ3A.220705.003.A3) very similar to the one which rolled out in the beginning of July (SQ3A.220705.003.A1), meaning that there should be hotfixes of some sort, but nothing that's been substantially changed since the July 5 Verizon-specific build." https://www.androidpolice.com/google-delays-august-pixel-patch/

You are correct, that's the version I received.

I'm surprised that Google hasn't pushed out the August security update for the Pixel phones yet, even Play system update isn't available on my Pixel 6 but to HR honest this isn't the first time this has happened, at least for the Pixel 6 series, but when it's all Pixel phones, then there's got to be an issue here but I'm surprised that Google hasn't put out a statement for the apparent delay of the August 2022 Security patch.

My Pixel 6 got the July Play System update this morning. Still no August security patch.
