Or he was doing it wrong (firmware update as he had stated).
Actually, it's more likely that they are doing some sort of controlled rollout - especially for those that updated early on Friday. I've yet to hear of any updates for those customers, including myself.
If you applied the update that leaked out over the weekend, you will NOT receive this one OTA. There will be another OTA push to target those phones, hopefully.

Do you have to do a 1.47.651.1 update before you do a 2.2 update? I avoided the earlier update waiting for 2.2. But now when I go to settings>system updates>HTC software update it wants to update the phone to 1.47.651.1.
Do I just need to be patient until Sprint trys to push the 2.2 update to me?
Are you scared of the few that got bricked? From what i've read here and other sites, it won't push with the old firmware.
its the 4th now and i have nothing...
I had to restart my phone and then check settings>system updates>HTC software update. It finally came up.
Did that and it still wants to update the phone to 1.47.651.1
So I'll wait![]()
You have to be on 1.47.651.1 first to update to the new version....
